Privacy

Privacy, kept simple.

dig2go.info is a small product information site. It does not run advertising, does not sell anyone's data, and keeps tracking to the bare minimum needed to serve the pages. Here's exactly what that means.

What this site collects

The pages are static HTML, and the site sets no tracking or advertising cookies of its own. Like almost any website, the hosting server keeps standard access logs (your IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and basic, aggregate traffic counts. Those logs are not used to build a profile of you and are not shared for marketing.

Privacy-friendly statistics, no ad trackers

To see which pages actually help people, this site counts visits with Matomo, an open-source statistics tool we run ourselves (at stats.intermit.tech). It runs cookieless: it sets no cookies, builds no advertising profile, and the anonymous counts (pages viewed, rough location, browser type) never leave our own server. There is still no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no third-party tracker on this site.

Content loaded from other services

A few things on the page come from elsewhere, and each has its own privacy policy:

  • The web fonts are served by Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google.
  • The intro video shows a still thumbnail from YouTube. Nothing is sent to YouTube until you click to play it on their site.
  • The "where to buy" links take you to independent retailers (DrZzs, Allnet, Jerems, QuinLED NL), each with their own policies and checkout.

Your dig2go and WLED

The dig2go controller itself, and the WLED software on it, run entirely on your own network. They are not connected to this website, and nothing you do with your lights is sent here.
